Interior Design Kitchen
Do you have a blank wall or awkward nook in your home that you’re not sure what to do with? Have you thought of creating a custom bookcase? A custom bookcase is a fun way to add some extra storage and instant charm to your space, and if there’s a window there, create a window seat to go with it! We recently created a custom bookcase and window bench for a client. Their family room was long and at the end of it was this blank window wall that they weren’t sure what they wanted to do with.
We designed up the bookcases, painted them in a gray-green color, to flow with the kitchen cabinets in the adjacent room, and added a roman shade, bench cushion and pillows to create a warm cozy spot. Our clients loved the hidden storage below and the extra space above for their books and family photos to be displayed. What do you think about our interior design idea? We truly believe everyone should have a well designed space regardless of budget constraints. If you also have a great interior design idea, stop thinking about it and just go for it!
